UAE bourses in dire need of stronger liquidity levels -analysts

Dubai – Mubasher: More liquidity is critically required in UAE stock markets on Tuesday in order to hold above the current significant resistance marks, analysts told Mubasher.

The current market liquidity is mixed with a speculative tendency rather than an investing orientation as traders are trying to make use of some major firms' financials that pushed its stocks forward to attractive purchasing levels, said market analyst Mohamed Alshamri, warning investors of a possible profit-taking period.

"Such lower liquidity levels allow speculators to control the market easily", said economic analyst Wael Mheisen, pointing out that foreign traders will likely tend to sell off their stocks after the first-six month financials get disclosed.

Today, DFM main index is expected to near the mark of 3,580 points and ADX benchmark to target the mark of 4,630 points, market analyst Hamad Al Kabi concluded.
