Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are expected to hold at their current levels on Wednesday, amid increased investments by foreign traders and some institutions, analysts told Mubasher.
Despite the volatililty of the UAE bourses, foreign investors are increasing their investments, reflecting that some stocks stand at good price-earnings ratios (P/E), capital market analyst Fawzy Abdullah told Mubasher.
Some stocks attracted liquidity, like Dubai Investments which approved higher-than-expected dividends and Damac Properties which has set the final yield of its planned $500 million five-year sukuk, Abdullah added.
Speculations still control the markets’ trading activity amid investors’ anticipations for other companies’ disclosures, the analyst said.
