Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets started to regain investors’ confidence due to the appearance of some internal catalysts like positve news related to new projects and acquisitions, analysts told Mubasher.
The UAE stock exchanges are expected to continue their uptrend in the coming sessions until the end of July, amid increased purchases of blue chips by portfolio investors and announcement of first-half financials, capital market analyst Amer Al Muhannadi said.
Last week, the bourses saw a noticeable recovery in terms of liquidity and the general performance of main indexes, according to Eyad Al Bouriki, general manager of Al Ansari Financial Services.
Liquidity rose in the banks, real estate, investment, and services stocks, like Emaar and First Abu Dhabi Bank, he added.
The markets were backed by the increase in foreign investments and rise of oil prices to a level near $50 per barrel (pb), Al Bouriki noted.
