Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: UAE bourses varied in performance during Thursday’s early trades, with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rising, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) falling.
ADX
By 10:55 am UAE time, the ADX gained 0.66% or 32.40 points to 4,913.44 points, while turnover amounted to AED 17.760 million after 6.139 million shares changed hands through 247 transactions.
TAQA led losers on the ADX, plunging 8.48%, whereas Waha Capital was the top gainer.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) was the most active in terms of value with AED 6.91 million, while Dana Gas was most active in terms of volume with 1.67 million shares exchanged.
DFM
In the meantime, the DFMGI shed 0.25% or 6.84 points to 2m678.29 points, while the turnover was AED 18.61 million after 18 million shares were exchanged through 335 transactions.
The services sector led fallers, shedding 1.37% after AMAN retreated 6.19%, whereas Dar Al Takaful jumped 5.92%.
