Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE broad monetary aggregate (M3) rose by 4.7% or AED 67 billion to AED 1.478 trillion by the end of April 2017 from AED 1.411 trillion by the end of last year, according to data by the Central Bank of the UAE.
Quasi-monetary deposits grew by AED 15 billion to AED 766.5 billion by the end of April.
Monetary deposits increased by AED 30.2 billion year-on-year to AED 442 billion, while issued currency rose by AED 1.1 billion to AED 78.3 billion.
Cash at banks went up by AED 2.2 billion to reach AED 13.1 billion during the same period.
