Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Central Bank of the UAE has discussed the details of its strategic and operational plan 2017-2021 on Saturday, according to a statement.
The central bank held the forum for its strategic partners and national agenda executive teams.
The plan plays an important role in the UAE Vision 2021 and the achievement of the national agenda, WAM reported on Saturday, citing central bank governor and forum chairman Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri.
Comprising a number of joint projects with several partners, the plan establishes cooperation, coordination, and integration between various UAE entities to reach the desired national objectives, the top official stated.
"The central bank's Strategy 2017-2021 was developed after conducting a meticulous analysis of internal and external work environments and studying relevant competitiveness indices," he said.
“This strategy comes as a response to the ministerial retreat held at the end of January last year in the presence and [under the] supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces,” the central bank’s top official revealed.
