Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE Cabinet approved bylaws on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), according to the twitter account of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, vice president and ruler of Dubai.
The bylaws aim to regulate and develop the SME sector and entrepreneurship.
The Cabinet also ratified a unified definition of SMEs, aiming to increase competitiveness in the sector and implement an integrated system of legislation, mechanisms, facilities and incentives for Emirati investors.
