Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE Central Bank on Tuesday announced that it will issue commemorative silver coin and one dirham coin, celebrating hosting the Asian Cup.
The new coins will be available as of Wednesday, 9 January, Arabian Business reported, citing the central bank.
“A total of 1,000 silver coins have been handed over to the Local Organising Committee of the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019,” the bank’s statement said.
The 17th of the Asian cup is taking place in the UAE from 5 January until 1 February.
