Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) on Friday lifted a suspension on flights to Pakistan after the de-escalation between the Asian country and India.
The GCAA allowed UAE-registered airlines to resume flights to the Pakistani cities of Karachi, Islamabad, and Peshawar, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
''The situation regarding other Pakistani airports will be reviewed later,'' the GCAA said.
In February, a group of GCC airlines suspended all flights to Pakistan after it closed its airspace.
Pakistan’s decision came after its military shot down two Indian fighters infringed the country’s airspace
