Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE economy is expected to see a 6% growth by 2020, in line with launch of more projects ahead of the World Expo 2020, said economists.
Despite the global unrest, there is a positive outlook for the UAE as it intends to proceed with its planned infrastructure projects, in addition to the ongoing foreign investment inflows to the nation, said Ali Al Anzi, economist at MR Financial Services.
Economist Ali Al Namash noted that the sovereign investments in the past five years and investment diversification are likely to help the UAE economy grow 4% in 2016.
Al Namash added Dubai’s 2016 budget is a testament of the diversification strategy which made the emirate’s economy less reliant on hydrocarbon revenues.
