UAE – Mubasher: The UAE Cabinet announced that children of tourists under 18 will be exempted from visa fees and this decision comes into effect as of Monday, 15 July.
This government decision reflects the UAE’s position in the world as a global tourism hub, Emarat Al Youm Newspaper reported.
It is worth noting that the number of travellers through the UAE’s airports reached 32.8 million during the first quarter of 2019.
The Cabinet previously highlighted the country’s stature as an attractive destination for family tourism, which boosts the national economy and supports local and international investments into the tourism sector.
