Dubai – Mubasher: Japan imported a total of 22.778 million barrels of crude oil from the UAE in December, according to data released by the Agency of Energy and Natural Resource (AENR) in Tokyo.
This represents around 24.5% of Japan's total crude imports, the agency said on Monday.
Saudi Arabia topped GCC oil exporters to Japan with 39.43 million barrels, or 42.5% of the total, followed by Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman with 5.5%, 2.2% and 0.4%, respectively.
Globally, the US topped exporters to the Asian nation with 6 million barrels of crude oil in December.
