Dubai - Mubasher: The United Arab Emirates is planning to boost the manufacturing, metal and machinery sector through attracting investments worth AED 75 billion by 2025.
On Sunday, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, DP World Group chairman and CEO & chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) inaugurated TEKNO 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
The leading industrial exhibition will run until Tuesday, 19 December 2017.
The UAE's aluminum and metals exports grew 13% in 2016, while machinery and equipment exports rose 11%.
TEKNO 2017, organised by Al Fajer Information and Services, is the region’s only international trade show exclusively for the manufacturing, technology and solutions.
