UAE - Mubasher: The UAE federal government reported around AED 3.48 billion in surplus during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, driven by AED 40.163 billion revenues and AED 36.686 billion expenditure, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The other revenues item, including tax and social contributions, amounted to AED 35.574 billion in Q3-20, accounting for 88.5% of the total revenues, as shown by the latest data of the UAE Ministry of Finance.
As for the expenditure, the UAE federal government has spent AED 4.454 billion on education, representing 12.1% of the total.
Meanwhile, around AED 3.39 billion was spent on the health sector, accounting for 9.2% of the total expenditure.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, the UAE federal government's revenues recorded AED 24.997 billion.
