Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE total foreign assets declined by 9% or AED 30.2 million year-on-year by the end of December 2016, according to a statement by the UAE Central Bank .
Foreign assets reached AED 310.91 billion ($84.63 billion) by the end of December 2016, compared to AED 341.11 billion in the prior year period.
Foreign deposits grew 29.2% year-on-year to AED 147.85 billion as at 31 December 2016, compared to AED 114.40 billion as at 31 December 2015.
