UAE foreign assets up 5.6% end-Nov - C. bank

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The foreign assets of UAE’s central bank rose to AED 525.1 billion by the end of November 2015, compared to AED 521.43 billion by the end of October, according to data released by the bank.

Foreign assets of the UAE banks rose 5.6% in the first eleven months of 2015 from AED 497.37 billion by the end of December 2014.

UAE’s net international reserves reached AED 249.93 billion by the end of November 2015, a decline of 12.48% from AED 285.83 billion in 2014.

Meanwhile, the central bank’s net international reserves grew 0.4% to AED 281.51 billion.

UAE’s domestic assets increased 9% to AED 933.1 billion by the end of November 2015, compared to AED 855.29 billion last year.
