Dubai – Mubasher: The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of the UAE rose 19.7% in the first five months of 2017, according to data by the central bank.
Reserves reached AED 316.7 billion ($86.20 billion) by the end of May 2017, compared to AED 264.75 billion ($72.06 billion) in December 2016.
In May, foreign exchange reserves grew 3.14% to AED 316.7 billion, from AED 307.03 billion in April.
Total assets in the central bank increased 4.8% or by AED 17.6 billion by the end of May, reaching AED 382.1 billion, compared to AED 364.5 billion by the end of December 2016.
