Dubai – Mubasher: Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure has unveiled the first floating swimming pool in the UAE on Palm Jumeirah.
The 1.2-metre deep pool enjoys a big deck area with sunbeds and seating for up to 75 people, Nakheel revealed.
“[The pool] been constructed over the summer to be ready for the winter season, and is already the talk of the town,” Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure’s managing director Thorsten Ries commented.

The company’s new leisure facility serves two purposes, namely day and night, costing AED 200 per person for entering the pool in daytime, when the pool is confined to adults, Nakheel said in a statement on Thursday.
At night, the pool serves as a private function venue hosting corporate events and family celebrations.
Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure is a subsidiary of Nakheel Properties, a Dubai-based real state developer.
