UAE gold reserves grow 39% -Central bank

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The UAE central bank raised the gold reserves by AED 261 million to reach AED 934 million by the end of November, an increase of 38.7% from AED 673 million by the end of October 2015, according to the bank.

The bank’s capital base reached AED 19.75 billion, while the value of assets amounted to AED 339 billion.

Foreign deposits reached AED 344.5 billion by end-November, accounting for 27.5% of the total deposits valued at AED 1251 billion. Net foreign reserves stood at AED 281.5 billion.
