UAE – Mubasher: The UAE announced the suspension of all flights to and from Italy except Rome starting from Friday and until further notice in a bid to curb the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) affirmed that all travellers coming from Rome International Airport have to undergo medical examinations to ensure they are free of the new virus, according to a statement on Friday.
It is noteworthy that the total number of COVID-19 cases in Italy rose to 15,113, while the count of infections in the UAE reached 85.
