Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE healthcare sector is expected to grow by 60% in five years, backed by the move towards quality healthcare and higher demand for preventive care and digital health, according to a new study by MENA Research Partners (MRP).
The market will surge from AED 64 billion ($17 billion) currently to over AED 103 billion ($28 billion) in 2021.
The healthcare sector will be backed by higher demand for preventive care, a rise in specialist medical services, more efficiently integrated healthcare solutions, as well as the high growth potential within specific medical device and pharmaceutical sub-sectors.
