Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE's inflation decreased by 2.39% year-on-year and 0.12% month-on-month in January, according to a recent report by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority.
The UAE Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded 109.61 points in January, compared to 112.29 points in the same months a year earlier.
The prices of the housing, water, gas services segment fell 5.08% year-on-year, while the food and beverage segment plunged 1.09% in the first month of 2019.
