Dubai – Mubasher: A number of UAE investors was recently in talks with Tunisia’s minister of tourism and handicraft Salma Elloumi Rkik over a possible tourism project in the North African country.
The minister and the investors discussed an AED 1.1 billion ($300 million) project in Tunisia, according to Alittihad newspaper.
Located in Nabeul, south-west from the Tunisian capital of Tunis, the project covers an area of 120,000 square metres.
The project will include a five-star hotel, villas, and chalets overlooking the Mediterranean, the newspaper reported, citing Nabeul’s governor, adding that the project will further house a waterpark and man-made islands.
