Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are likely to resume their sideways-to-bullish performance, amid the rise of US stocks ahead of US President Donald Trump’s speech, analysts told Mubasher.
Increased purchases of foreign and institutional traders in the current period are mainly to improve investment portfolios in February, capital market analyst Wael Muheisen said.
Some investors in portfolios and funds see that the stocks’ prices are still attractive, Muheisen added.
The markets are likely to continue seeing selling pressures, especially by institutional investors, to close positions in the coming two sessions, amid an expected decline in trading volume and turnover, financial expert Samer Al Jaouni told Mubasher.
