Dubai – Mubasher: UAE stock markets still need more long-term institutional investments to achieve a strong recovery, according to analysts.
Foreign traders and institutions are applying some pressures to lower stock quotes before re-buying these stocks again, said market analyst Jamal Ajaj, noting that the selling tendency was stronger in the second half of Monday's session.
In spite of yesterday's upturn, the markets are still moving downwardly, said market analysts Doaa Majed and Waleed Khatab, adding that low liquidity level does not give a clear outlook for the markets' trend in the coming period.
The volatile performance is likely to continue during this month until oil prices swing over $50 per barrel, Khatab concluded.
