Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE markets are expected to hold at their current levels amid the continuity of their sideways-to-bearish trend, analysts told Mubasher.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) moved higher on Wednesday, thus extending a bull run to the sixth successive day.
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) slipped on Wednesday, amid selling pressures from major sectors.
The UAE markets are likely to maintain their volatile trend this week amid the desire of some portfolios to improve the leading stocks' closures by the end of 2015, financial market analyst Amir Mansour said in a statement to Mubasher.
On another note, technical analyst Ahmed Akl told Mubasher that speculators are currently making use of the low price levels that most leading stocks reached.
