Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are expected to continue their upward trend on Sunday and for the rest of this week in line with the good prices stocks have reached, as well as the improvement of investors’ sentiments after the good financial results of the banks sector, analysts told Mubasher.

Emaar Properties endorsed the market’s performance last week, as traders were optimistic towards the expected dividends, which are linked to the forecast on the subscription’s dividends by the end of 2017, capital market analyst Waddah Al Taha said.

Some forecasts earlier said that Emaar’s dividends may range between 90 fils and AED 1.2 per share.

Stocks trading at the UAE markets are projected to target new high levels in the coming period amid a strong purchasing trend, capital market analyst Mohamad Al Azmi said.

The UAE stock markets are expected to see more liquidity in the coming period, as well as purchases from institutions and foreign portfolios which will try to make good use of the low prices, the analyst added.

The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is expected to remain above the 3,570-point level, capital market analyst Mohamad Saeed said.
