UAE markets likely to see new accumulations – Analysts

By: Mahmoud Gamal

Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are forecast to see accumulations during this week in line with institutions’ tendency toward purchasing despite continuous pressures, analysts told Mubasher.

Shares of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) are expected to attract new liquidity amid price stability in addition to pressures including announcements of remaining financial statements, and the lower levels fuel prices have reached, analyst at Masaken Capital Muhannad Oraikat said.

The mergers and rights issues of the banking sector in the UAE will push shares to continue their safe performance, the analyst added.

The majority of investment portfolios are back to hold to the purchasing performance for local shares which have reached attractive levels, analyst Nawf Al-Mouniry said.

Meanwhile, analyst Mohammad Al-Kaabi advised investors in the UAE markets to be cautious and not expand positions until the benchmark indices of both DFM and ADX break 3,550 points and 4,600 points respectively, and until the rest of the companies announce their H1 financials.
