Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE markets opened at a rise on Sunday amid the positive performance of leading stocks in both markets, backed by the rise of oil prices and global markets.
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) jumped 6% or 157 points to reach 2,779 points by 10:15am UAE time.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 4.78% or 178.57 points to stand at 3,915.52 points.
The markets are expected to recover in the fourth week of 2015 amid the rise of oil prices and positive performance of global markets, as well as investors’ desire to accumulate portfolios and speculate on some selective stocks, analysts told Mubasher.
