UAE markets resume gains at open

Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE stock markets managed to reverse their downward trend in Sunday’s early trades. 

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 0.95% or 29.53 points to reach 3,153.60 points by 10:50am UAE time.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange increased 0.45% or 19.24 points to reach 4,270.42 points.

In Dubai’s market, Arabtec Holding levelled up 4.4%, and also Emaar Properties and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 1.25% and 0.16%, respectively.

The market saw trading of 133.26 million shares through 1,530 transactions, with turnover of AED 119.6 million.

In Abu Dhabi’s market, Waha Capital advanced 3.2%, in addition to Etisalat, Aldar Properties and First Gulf Bank (FGB) which grew 0.6%, 0.41% and 0.40% in a row.

Turnover reached AED 87.96 million after trading 94.16 million shares through 735 transactions.
