UAE markets stability subject to institutional investments – Analysts

Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets’ stability on Thursday depends on the entry of new long-term institutional investments to make use of the prices of some stocks, analysts told Mubasher.

Investment portfolios tended on Wednesday to purchase with net investments of AED 40.9 million in the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), according to the bourse’s figures.

Financial analyst, Amer Al Mohanady, said that foreign and local investors in the UAE markets are trying to reduce the stocks’ prices before repurchasing them amid a rise in the selling pace in the second half of yesterday's session.

Foreign and local investors sold shares worth AED 33.96 million, according to the market's figures.

Moreover, technical analyst, Doaa Maged, said that low liquidity makes it hard to technically expect a specific direction for the market, noting that the general trend of the market is still not clear.
