Dubai-Mubasher: The weak liquidity gives speculators a chance to control the UAE stock markets, amid the fluctuations of oil prices, analysts told Mubasher.
The anticipation controlling the markets’ investment portfolios and funds is clear as trading value remains low, in line with the instability of oil prices. Thus, investors should not increase positions of local shares as long as liquidity and purchase volume are at low levels, said capital market analyst Mohamad Al-Shimry.
Despite the slight rise seen on Sunday, some local investment portfolios as well as the foreign ones intend to exit the shares after Eid Al-Fitr holiday, as announcements of H1 financials approach, said capital market analyst Wael Mohaisein.
