Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE markets are expected to see a positive performance on Wednesday amid the desire of investors who hold portfolios to improve the annual closures of some leading stocks, analysts told Mubasher.
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) reversed the downward trend it saw in early trades on Wednesday, resuming its upward trend on the rise of real estate and banks stocks.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) maintained its bullish performance for the ninth session in row on Tuesday, spurred by the banks and real estate sectors.
Investors, who hold portfolios, returned to trade in the UAE stocks in the last period, pushing the markets up, senior technical analyst Hamoud Al-Azmi told Mubasher.
Al-Azmi added that the liquidity pumped in local stocks saw an increase, reflecting a temporary improvement in the investors’ sentiment.
Investors tend to improve the annual closures of blue-chip stocks which incurred significant losses in the last period, noted Al-Azmi.
