UAE markets to see speculations, position building -Analysts

Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE markets are likely to continue seeing speculations and building new positions after the losses they incurred in the past sessions and the drop of their stocks to low price levels.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) managed to reverse the downward trend it saw for five successive sessions on Monday amid speculations on some selective stocks.

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) witnessed a bearish performance on Monday, weighed by Mashreq Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank’s (DIB) losses which overshadowed the rise of Emirates NBD and Arabtec Holding.

Speculations will continue as the prices of some leading stocks reached attractive levels, said capital market financial analyst Amir Mansour.

He advised small investors not to have new open positions till the markets’ trend becomes clear.

Traders have to make use of available opportunities in the markets which are seeing positive catalysts like companies’ financial results for the fiscal year 2015, said market technical analyst Faisal Boushahri told Mubasher.
