Dubai-Mubasher: The number of UAE’s mobile subscribers grew 1.08% to reach 17.38 million in September 2015, compared to 17.2 million in August, according to a report by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
The number of prepaid subscribers rose by 174,170 from 14.49 million in August to 14.67 million in September.
Fixed-line subscribers slightly increased 0.2% to 2.148 million in September from 2.144 million in August.
Internet users grew 0.26% to 1.16 million in September from 1.15 million in August, while broadband customers rose to 1.156 million from 1.154 million.
