Dubai-Mubasher: United Arab Emirates has led the countries in the Middle East in terms of internet economy development, according to Boston Consulting Group’s e-Intensity Index for 2015.
UAE has ranked the 30th after succeeding to achieve 129 points on the index level, overtaking China and Russia.
Saudi Arabia came in the 45th place, with an e-intensity of 88 points.
The index measures the maturity of 85 internet economies, based on three main components that are enablement, engagement, and expenditure.
