Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE's twenty three national banks provided AED 1.249 trillion financings by the end of August 2016 out of a total of AED 1.429 trillion, according to statistics by the Central Bank of UAE.

Meanwhile, the UAE-based thirty-five foreign banks granted AED 180.3 billion of the total amount, the statistics revealed.

The industrial and commercial sectors secured AED 603.6 billion and AED 109.1 billion loans from the national and foreign banks  

Regarding personal loans, the national and foreign banks granted AED 310.5 billion and AED 34.5 billion during the same period.
