Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The assets of UAE national banks grew 2.3% or AED 51.6 billion in the first half of 2017, recent statistics by the Central Bank of the UAE showed.
The assets reached AED 2.29 trillion by the end of June 2017, compared to AED 2.24 trillion by the end of December 2016, the statistics added.
The credit volume of UAE national banks rose 1.8% to reach AED 1.4 trillion by the end of June 2017.
