Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE requires $34 billion worth of investments in its energy sector to generate an addition 17 gigawatts on the medium term, a report by Apicorp’s research unit has said.
The UAE suffers from regular power cuts, but seeks to diversify its energy sources in the seven emirates, the company’s report for May added.
We believe that the current backlog of projects is capable of generating around 9.4 gigawatts, the research firm said.
