UAE new fuel prices effective February

Dubai-Mubasher: The new fuel prices will take effect on Monday across stations in UAE, according to a previous statement by the energy ministry.

The price of gasoline, including the three types, will decline 7%, and diesel will decrease 15%.

Gas stations sell unleaded gasoline 98 octane (Super) at AED 1.58, unleaded gasoline 95 octane (Special) at AED 1.47, and Gasoline E Plus-91 at AED 1.40.

Diesel is sold at AED 1.37 per liter.

The energy ministry undersecretary Matar Hamed Al Neyadi declared that falling demand of heating oil and oversupply led the government to reduce fuel prices to the global average price of gasoline.

Al Neyadi said that a meeting will be held on 28 February to set the fuel prices for March.
