Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Non-resident bank deposits in the UAE fell by 2.64% or AED 5.2 billion month-on-month by the end of February 2017, according to recent statistics from the Central Bank of the UAE.
Non-resident deposits amounted to AED 191.73 billion by the end of February 2017, compared to AED 196.93 billion by the end of January 2017.
UAE banks attracted new deposits worth AED 25.81 billion during the year from February 2016 to February 2017; a growth of 15.56% year-on-year.
