Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE passport has jumped three spots among the world's most powerful passports in October, coming in the fourth rank with a visa-free score of 162.
This is the second time for the Emirati passport to leap this month after it was ranked the seventh with a score of 157, according to a ranking by Passport Index.
It is worth noting that the passport was ranked the ninth among the world’s top passports in September.
The UAE passport is the most powerful in the Arab world, as it allows Emirati citizens to travel to 162 countries without the need to a prior visa.
Singapore and Germany topped the Passport Index’s list with visa-free scores of 165, while the US, South Korea, France, Denmark, and Sweden share the second spot with a score of 164.
Moreover, Switzerland, the UK, and Canada ranked the third with a score of 163.
