UAE raises fuel prices for October

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Ministry of Energy in the UAE on Thursday announced an increase of fuel prices, in line with the increase in the global average prices.

The fuel price committee announced a rise in gasoline 98 price to AED 2.12 ($0.577), from its current price at AED 2.01 ($0.547), gasoline 95 price to AED 2.01 ($0.547) from AED 1.90 ($0.517), and gasoline 91 price to AED 1.94 ($0.528) from AED 1.83 ($0.498) in August.

The gas oil diesel price also hiked from AED 2 ($0.544) to AED 2.10 ($0.571), the Ministry added.

These increases will come into effect from 1 October, until the Ministry announces the new prices for November.
