Dubai – Mubasher: The United Arab Emirates was ranked first among Arabs in service imports at $68 billion and came 20th globally with a 1.9% share of the world total imports in 2015, according to a report release on Tuesday by the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
UAE exports amounted to $265 billion in 2015, forming 1.6% the world total exports.
The acquired 31.5% of the Middle East’s total exports last year, compared to a share of 28% in 2014.
The gulf state was placed 19th internationally in commodity imports.
