Cairo – Decypha: The UAE has made significant progress in 16 global indicators over the last two years, ranking first in the regional market in 13 global indicators, and ranking second over three indicators, according to Al Khaleej News.
The indicators, which ranked the UAE in the first place at the regional level, included the index of innovation, index of happiness, ease of doing business, the index of prosperity, and the global talent index, according to the monitoring of the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics.
The UAE ranked first regionally in: the Gender Balance Index, the Global Entrepreneurship and Development Index, the Confidence Index, the Global IT Index, the World Trade Index, the Competitiveness Index, Tourism, and Travel Competitiveness Index.
The UAE ranked second regionally in the Global Triennial Energy Index and the Human Development Index, according to the latest reports issued by international institutions specialized in this field, reported the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics.
The improvements in the nation’s ranking reflect the achievements recorded in UAE’s 2021 vision to reach first place worldwide over all these indicators.
The achievements are due to the Government's commitment to improving the competitiveness of the State and its institutions, and to promoting sustainable growth and prosperity at various levels.
The federal government is working to implement a wide range of policies and competitive procedures, to enable the UAE to build development strategies and economic transformation.
