Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE ranked 2nd most competitive Arab economy after Qatar, according to the latest World Competitiveness Ranking from the IMD World Competitiveness Centre.
The UAE fell three places from 12th to 15th in the IMD’s yearbook among the world’s most competitive, while Qatar ranked 13th globally,
For infrastructure, the UAE scored 54.027 points in 2016, a rise of 42.2% from 37.991 points in 2015.
The country also registered a growth in business efficiency, government efficiency and economic performance by 34.3%, 7.4% and 6% in 2016 to register 78.536,78.21 and 70.308 points, respectively.
