Cairo – Mubasher: The UAE came in the first place as Egypt’s top export destination during the period between January and October of this year, an official report revealed.
Egypt’s total exports to the GCC country amounted to $1.70 billion in the ten-month period ended October, according to data released by the Egyptian General Organisation for Export-Import Control (GOEIC) on Monday.
Turkey ranked the second the destination of Egypt’s exports with a total of $1.63 billion, followed by the US and Italy with $1.29 billion and $1.32 billion, respectively.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia came in the fourth place with $1.18 billion, followed by the UK, Spain, and Algeria with $860 million, $784 million and $730 million, respectively.
