Dubai – Mubasher: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked 14th in the list of the largest foreign investors in France with 3.7 billion euros, making 45% of total investments coming from the Middle East since 2014, according to French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius.
Fabius said that UAE is the fourth largest country in terms of trade surplus with France, as French exports to the gulf country doubled three times over 10 years.
“Dubai contains 600 French companies, in addition to a number of small businesses, working in various projects, like Al Maktoum Airport, Dubai Smart City and Expo 2020. It also hosts 20,000 French citizens out of 30,000 in whole country,” he added.
