UAE records 484 new coronavirus cases, 74 recoveries

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE has recorded 484 new infections with the coronavirus (COVID-19) from different nationalities, taking the country’s tally to 7,265 cases so far.

Two people have passed away from the new disease over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities to 43, the official spokesperson for the UAE health sector, Farida Al Hosani, remarked.

In the meantime, 74 new cases recovered from the novel virus to take the total count to 1,360 recoveries.

Moreover, the GCC country has begun expanding COVID-19 testing coverage nationwide, carrying out 25,795 new tests.

The UAE is fully committed to providing required vaccinations to its people to prevent infectious diseases, the spokesperson concluded.
