UAE – Mubasher: The total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the UAE reached 8,756 after 518 new cases had been confirmed on Thursday, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
To detect positive cases, the UAE Ministry of Health has conducted more than 29,000 new COVID-19 tests.
Meanwhile, four deaths were reported to bring the total number of deaths in the country to 56.
The number of recoveries totalled 1,637 as 91 new recoveries were announced on Thursday.
On Wednesday, 22 April, the UAE reported 483 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths, and 103 recoveries.
